from him and through him and to him are all things

If someone were to ask me how to survive in this brutal and cruel world of ours,  I would say it would be the morning breeze.
Morning breezes keep me sane..most times I wake up to deep heart concerns and yesterday's conversations and on the mornings when I'm being smart, I go straight to my narrow little balcony spot and I sit and wait for the wind..willing away all that bad stuff in my mind.  That breeze-feeling on my skin is my peace.   My inside fight stops and then I breathe.  Holy Spirit is there with me.

I understand how people, through history have chosen to worship nature.  There is something about connecting to our physical world that brings health and good living.  To feel the natural world makes us feel more present.  But because I have been given faith, I see Holy Spirit, the Creator of the Universe present in these small, but oh so powerful connections to my physical world.

Inspired by Romans 11, this morning's breeze and my sometimes haunted heart.

"For from him and through him and to him are all things.
  Romans 11:36  makes sense.
